Terms and Conditions

General information

Vita Lemežienė  (hereinafter referred to as the Data Controller) sets the terms of personal data processing using the websites managed by the Data Controller with these privacy rules (hereinafter referred to as PT). The terms set by PT apply every time you access the content and/or service we provide, regardless of the device (computer, mobile phone, tablet, TV, etc.) you use.

Supervisory authorities: Data about the data controller are collected and stored in the Vilnius branch of the Register Center of the State Enterprise.

It is very important that you read the TOS carefully, because every time you visit the websites or social network accounts owned by the Data Controller, you agree to the terms described in these TOS. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not visit our websites/social media accounts, use our content and/or services.

We confirm that the data of visitors to the websites and social network accounts of the Data Controller will be collected in accordance with the requirements of the valid legal acts of the European Union and the Republic of Lithuania and the instructions of the controlling authorities. We take all reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect the data we collect about visitors to our websites and social media accounts from loss, unauthorized use and alteration.

The employees of the data manager are obliged in writing not to disclose or distribute to third parties the information received at the workplace, including information about website visitors.

Individuals who are under the age of 16 may not submit any personal data for marketing activities through our website(s) and social media accounts. If you are a person under the age of 16, you must obtain the consent of your parent or other legal guardian before submitting personal information for marketing purposes.

The terms used in the rules are understood as they are defined in the General Data Protection Regulation no. 2016/679 (EU).

What information do we collect about you? How do we use your information?

We collect the information you provide directly

Our website and social media accounts allow you to provide information directly to us. For example, on the website www.stepa.lt, we ask you to provide certain information about yourself (email address) if you want to receive our news. You may choose not to provide us with this information, but in this case you may not be allowed to subscribe to our newsletter.

Who do we disclose your information to?

We will disclose your information to the following entities: to other parties when required by law or necessary to protect the information society services we provide.

Cases in which we may disclose your information to other parties:to comply with the law or in response to a mandatory legal process (such as obtaining a lawful warrant or search warrant or other court order); to confirm the legality of our actions; to protect the Data Controller; otherwise with your consent or your lawful request.​

Cases in which we will transfer information:

On the basis of your consent, we may transfer your personal data to another data recipient to whom you have given consent to process personal data for the purpose specified in the consent.​

What do we do to protect your information?

We have implemented reasonable and appropriate physical, organizational and technical measures to protect the information we collect for the purpose of providing the content/services. However, please remember that although we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no website, online transaction, computer system or wireless connection is completely secure.

Your rights

The data subject whose data is processed in the activities of the Data Controller has the following rights:

​· know (be informed) about the processing of your data (right to know);

· access your data and how they are processed (right to access);

· to demand correction or, taking into account the purposes of personal data processing, to supplement incomplete personal data of a person (right to correction);

· destroy your data or suspend your data processing actions (except for storage) (right to destruction and right to be forgotten);

· demand that the Personal Data Manager restricts the processing of personal data for one of the legitimate reasons (right to restriction);

· the right to transfer data (right to transfer);

· the right not to consent to the processing of his personal data or to withdraw his consent to the processing of personal data at any time so that the personal data are processed for one or more specific purposes, without affecting the legality of data processing based on consent until the withdrawal of consent.

 

The data controller may not create a data subject for other conditions to implement the rights listed above, when, in cases provided for by law, it is necessary to ensure the prevention, investigation and detection of crimes, violations of official or professional ethics, as well as the protection of the rights and freedoms of the data subject or other persons.

Third-party websites, services and products on our websites

The Data Controller's website(s) or social media accounts may contain third-party banners, links to their websites and services over which the Data Controller has no control. The data controller is not responsible for the security and privacy of information collected by third parties. You should be careful and read the privacy policies of the third-party websites and services you use.

Final Provisions

These PTs are reviewed at least once every two years. When we update the PT, we will notify you of what we consider to be material changes by posting a notice on the specific website(s) or social media accounts. If you access or use our content and/or services after such notice is posted, we will assume that you agree to the new requirements set forth in the update.
